St. Timothy Church
St. Timothy Lutheran Church is situated on a rock outcropping above State Route 119, south of the City of Charleston, West Virginia. The lighted tube steer steeples are clearly visible from the road at night. The sanctuary is an 80’x90’ column free space framed with six massive steel tube scissor trusses. The trusses are supported on W14x120 steel columns that help to resist the wind and seismic loads from the steeply pitched roof. The framing in the 800 square foot chapel mimics the main sanctuary framing. A large Fellowship Hall and Education Wing support the worship space.
