Academic Center E - Moeller Hall
Columbus State Community College
Phillip Markwood Architects
Columbus State Community College purchased 108 acres in Delaware County to establish a second campus north of Columbus. This academic building was the first structure on the new campus. The building is two stories plus a basement occupying 87,000 SF. The basement level houses mechanical rooms and tunnels to adjacent upper levels. The first floor accommodates uses for conferences, admissions, offices, a cafe, classrooms, a data center, a bookstore, and a student learning center. The second-floor houses classrooms, laboratories, and a distance learning Center. The entire southern exposure is enclosed by a two-story glass curtain wall, allowing ample daylight into the space.
