2019’s Annual Orange Line Opens
This year’s edition of the Orange Line Exhibit by The Center for Architecture and Design opens tomorrow night at 5:30. Make sure to take a look at our entry where we took a different approach to the challenge.
Orange Line is an annual exhibit where “architects, landscape artists, and designers to show off their model making chops and visionary thinking as we collectively contemplate possibilities for the skyline of Columbus. This year’s theme was Holiday Greets from The Future.” There are only 15 teams and the building’s base plot must fit within 12″ x 18″, and be between 24″ – 48″ in height. All structures are made from white and clear legos. We also included some acrylic clear plastic that we used as curtain walls and a battery powered LED strand throughout to light the the building from within. We were very proud of the final results, which even included a few mini-buildings that were put together by one of our Engineer’s children.
