Big Walnut Local School District New High and Elementary Schools

This new 302,310 SF high school included highlights such as a new theater with a catwalk, orchestra pit, green rooms, a scene shop, an academic common area to accommodate small group gatherings and ample group learning opportunities in an open-concept space, a stadium, and a competition gym with an elevated indoor running track. The new Prairie Run Elementary School featured extended learning areas, which provided space for different activities outside the classrooms. As part of this project, we also designed the school district’s storm shelters.
