The Joseph Hotel is a 135-room boutique hotel located in the Short North district of Columbus. The hotel is located a few blocks north of the Columbus Convention Center. It services the convention center and the needs of the Short North district. Amenities in the hotel include a restaurant, bar, and conference space.

The hotel is a ten-story, post-tensioned concrete structure supported with an auger cast pile foundation system. The concrete shaft walls around the stair and elevator shafts resist lateral loads. The building fills the site, resulting in construction immediately adjacent to existing buildings on the north and south sides, High Street to the west, and an alley to the east. The partial basement was strategically located so that underpinning the existing buildings on the north and south sides would not be required, reducing cost. It was also located so excavation shoring would not be needed on the High Street side, reducing construction costs.
