SMBH Recognized at 2023 Columbus Landmarks James B Recchie Awards

SMBH Columbus Landmarks awards the James B. Recchie Design Award each year, honoring urban design excellence in historic and new buildings and places, additions to existing buildings, parks, public spaces, and public art. The award celebrates projects that add to Columbus's distinctive character and improved quality of life and the designers responsible for them.

SMBH was proud to work on four of this year's five finalist projects; "Current," Historic Trolley Barn's East Market, Jackie O's on Fourth, and this year's winner, the Open Air School.

SMBH was presented with the James B Recchie Design Award Special Recognition for being the first firm to ever work on that many finalist teams in one year.

We were honored to accept the certificate on stage and have our President, Stephen Metz, say a few words. But the teams that worked on these projects behind the scenes were big in both size and impact. So, we thought we'd give special shout-outs to all our team members who contributed.
