The project consisted of demolishing the existing Agricultural Engineering Building and designing and constructing a 44,0000 SF replacement facility on the site. As a part of the demolition project, the existing utilities in the tunnel were disconnected and capped, and hazardous materials abated to satisfy LEED requirements. The replacement facility is aligned with the principles of the Frame Work Plan for the Regional Campuses. It includes labs for specialized research, faculty offices, lab and office support spaces, surface parking, and a connection to the existing utility tunnel system. The scope included site planning to strengthen pedestrian and vehicular relationships within the campus. Design services included interior finishes and equipment.
