Welcome + Congratulations to a few of our SMBH team members!

We've got a few announcements that we're super excited to share!

We recently welcomed Parth Patel as our newest CAD Specialist. Parth has his Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting/CAD from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. He works remotely from Alpharetta, Georgia, where he enjoys playing bass and producing music with his German Shepherd, Nova. He's been a great addition to the team already, and we're excited to have him on board!

Ebiji Akah was recently promoted to Project Engineer 2! Ebiji has been with SMBH since 2015 when he started working with us as a Design Engineer. In 2020, Ebiji was promoted to Project Engineer 1 after earning his Professional Engineering registration in the state of Ohio. He has also become a LEED-certified Green Associate and continues to pursue additional LEED certifications.

Ben Wiley was recently promoted to Project Engineer 1! Ben started at SMBH in 2019 as an Intern. Later that year he came on as a full-time member of the team as a Design Engineer and has since worked his way up to Project Engineer 1. He has experience working with a wide variety of materials including cast-in-place concrete, foundations, masonry, steel, cold-formed metal framing, and dimensional lumber. Ben is well versed in how to use these in additions, new builds, and renovations in many industry sectors such as commercial and retail, education, hospitality, residential, and more.

We're proud to make these announcements, and we can't wait to see what great things these three go on to achieve here.
